If you buy the 240 do you plan on doing anything to it? If you wanted to modify the car then the 240 would most likely be better than the honda..... From how your post, it sounds like you want to keep it stock. If you are going to keep it stock then IMO, keep the honda. I'm not saying this to keep you from buying a 240, but I've owned 2 honda's, well one was actually mine, and I had ZERO problems with them the whole time I drove them. My first car was a 91 civic dx w/ 70k miles on it. I still drove the piss out of that thing and I never had 1 single problem with it. After I sold the honda and was in the process of looking for a 240, I was driving my dad's 98 GSR (acura, honda...same thing) which I loved and considered buying off of him. Once again I pushed it to redline non-stop and didn't have a single problem with it. Honda's are probably the most reliable cars out there IMO.
I've had the 240 for a little over a year now and haven't had any major problems with it. The only thing that screwed up was my EGR valve. It was an easy fix and I would have just ditched it if it wasn't for the gay/semi-strict inspections here. Other than that, the 240 has been fine.
