Just to explain real quick, the maxima has exhaust manifolds, a Y-pipe, a B-pipe, and a muffler. There is only one company that makes headers, and they are in New Zealand, and it showed little gains. Your best bet is to replace the Y-pipe, b-pipe, and muffler. check out

www.warpspeedracing.com for the Y-pipe, and I would get an apexi exhuast if you can still find one, or greddy if you want it loud. You could always have a custom exhuast from the cat-back built, but thats all up to you.
