the accerelation with lighter wheels should i think b just as quick if not quicker. even though its a larger rotational mass. 18'' look definately better and meaner on the max. i goota asak one of my speed shop techs ,cause im curious my self. i also have 18'' on my max. the guidelines for bigger wheels usually go like this
16" 55/215
17" 45/235
18" 40/235
19" 35/235or245
usually this will keep the odometer at its same rate of rpm and speed. so i think if lighter wheels even if they are bigger should make you quicker. regardless it makes it look alot better
