I built the hi-tech version about 10 years ago. It won several modelcar contests, and I'll post some pictures tonight (I'm not home right now). It's one of the best kits I ever built, although not very easy!!!
BTW "yellow" was the color of the Belgian "Ecurie Francorchamps", in the 50ies and 60ies, when cars still drove for their country...
And as for the value of a 250 GTO : a few years ago I spoke with mr Wang (of Wang computers) at the Ferrari Days at Spa Francorchamps, and he payed 20.000.000 $ for his dark blue GTO, although he admitted that they lost some of their value lately...
