Honda Dealership

Im due for an emission test this month. After I got my engine swapped a few months ago, the guy told me to replace the O2 Sensor because the "check engine" light was on. I looked for one online and saw a few in the 100 dollar range. Today I went to the Honda dealership just to find out how much it cost there, and they told me $270. Why is there such a drastic difference? I only have a few days left to do the emission test until they "suspend" my license. What kind of results would I get with a faulty Oxygen sensor? Would replacing my plugs and wires with some NGKs ones and some of that "guaranteed to pass emission test" fluid get me through? 2 Years ago my friend failed his test with an escort and they told him he "HAD TO" take it to a shop and get it fixed there. They charged him 500 bucks and all they did was replace the O2 sensor, plugs and wires (which he replaced right before he went testing)

Also, is there a Special tool to unscrew the freakin sensor from the manifold? I have a 95 DX Coupe, and I've tried everything to get that bij out of there. My sensor is screwed into the header right underneath the engine instead of in the front, where it usually is with stock cars.
