and are you sure you can't afford a winter beater? go onto
www.autotrader.ca and do a search for cars under $500. you will find TONS, and 75% of them are in running order. then you can buy one, beat the hell out of it for a couple of winter months while your 240 "hibernates" safely in a garage, and sell the beater for whatever you can get once winter is over.
