a Nissan Sileighty is a 180SX body with a Nissan Silvia S13(Nissan produced the S13 front end Sileighties but coversionists may use S14 or S15 fronts also) and Nissan saw how popular this trend that was started when a 180SX owner wrecked his car and realized it was cheaper
to get an S13 front end to replace his detroyed 180SX
nose so he did. later, others did it for the same reason and even more just because they loved the look. so Nissan saw they could make money making an actual Nissan Sileighty. and they sure as hell did. Since it was only a trend they only made several hundred. Im not sure about the number posted earlier, i believe it was a bit more than 400.. the Sileighty came with an SR20DET engine (i think, lol) and so that was another thing people loved about it. the more powerful engine.
