i work at a car dealership and encounter lots of cars that i can aquire for dirt cheap. a person recently traded in their 88 civic dx hatchback(5 spd not the shitty 4 spd) and i can buy it for 300 dollars. this car is slow and i don't want that. what i would like to do is build a frankenstein b series motor but since i owna nan infiniti i really only know nissans. the motor i have in mind is the b20(crv) block and internals exc. the crank. i would source the crank from a b17(1st gen gsr) and the head froma b16. the reasoning i would like to do this is i want the 2 liter's displacement, the 1.7's wind up and the bullet proof head of the 1.6. i have been told that all/most b series components are compatible with eachother so i figure this will work. but as the topic stated how much power will i get and how much money will it cost me?
