I cant help but notice what the hell did Ford do with the
newer mustangs that use the 4.6L?
The car has got no power compared to the originall
v-8 5.0L mustangs and why is this? The newer mustangs have
a extra 5hp over the older 5.0L.
The reason i ask is because i have a 91 VW B3 Passat
and i raced against 3 or 4 newer 4.6L mustangs and burned them
without even using my NOS. On the other hand, against a real 5.0L
and i was smoked like no tommarow.

I Would have to say its not the stangs that lost the race but the drivers

. I cant say I have owned a newer mustang with the 4.6 but I have put a few miles on a SVT Cobra stang

I will say they are a trick for finding the so called sweet spot for power in the rpm range. They have a lil more power but the rpm range is much higher and needs to be used. I am sure if the people had the old 5.0 stangs first they are shifting far to soon for the 4.6.
I am not putting your ride down. I am just saying the stang loss would be all on the driver not and on the car.
