Actually, they made vtec's in 92+ and there are 3 dif models from 92-92: S(135hp f22), Si(160hp h23), and the vtec(190hp h22). from 97-01 they all had the 2.2l vtec: 97-98 having a 195hp manual, 190hp auto and 99-01 having a 200hp manual, and a 195hp auto. There also is a JDM Prelude Type S in Japan that has a 2.2l 220hp vtec in it.
