Engine swap

I did the same with my car. It also had the pissy f22 engine, you wont know yourself after the swap. Do yourself a favour and while the engine is out do this. A cylinder leak down or bench compression test, a new clutch preferably with bigger pressure plate, split the box and check the gears and syncros for wear. Put new driveshaft seals in when you put the box back together and seal it correctly, you dont want any leaks. If you spend a day on proper preperation now, you can save yourself alot of heart ache.
