Well I know some ppl use the 3M compound with awersome result.. be sure to have more than 1 coat of paint if you rub it..
I'm doing serious modeling for near 2 year now, and last week, it was the first time I get a real result with coumpound.. don't know what I did, but foe the first time I sayd to myselft, damn.. finally a perfect job !
so take your time, chance are you not be getting the perfect result on your first model
