Well; to black-wash you don't need that much stuff, actually the best thing to do is to by some acrylic thinner from tamiya. now you take a few drops of thinner and a few of flat black , and you stir it and you put it on the grille, and in between the panel lines.
Wipe the excess paint off, with thinner, or even with water and some sort of stick you use to clean your ears with ... dunno what it's called?
and Voila, you have yourself a nice blackwash.
Also, in case you don't have access to thinner , I heard water could do the trick as well, as it thins your paint. I think you should at least give it a go,j it brings out grilles so nicely and could be a very welcome addition to your models.
oh , and about those lights, I think you put too much clear glue in them, it shows through the lens (if it's at all clear glue)
You should put this glue especially in the lights on with a cocktail stick, and it will look much better.
As for the distributor, I didn't have one also on my alpine, but scratchbuilt one using styrene, following the tutorial I found on
this site
It's pretty clear.
