Please tell me you're joking. One hot summer day or accidentally kicking them will unstick that tape from the door... Get some neon clamps and screw those into the plastic door thing if you're really going to do this. Might as well go all the way and make it clean like you say, instead of ghetto fab tape holding up your neons.
