Ok. We cant import the Skyline becuase of among other things, emissions. Right? Well then tell me this. Why is it that people such as Unstable Hybrids and for that matter, you and me and even can purchase used RB series engine/tranny combos? I mean, to me this seems likes its alot of double talk going on. The same goes with JDM Honda/Acura, Subaru and Toyota engines. If I can secure the engine and all it takes to install it, why cant I just buy the whole car instead and save myself the hassle of an engine swap?

Also, I came up with a plan. We cant have the car becuase of the engine, correct? Well then what if we just buy the car without an engine and drop in an SR20DET or whatever Turbo/TwinTurbo engine they had in the 300ZX of late. They cant make an engineless car conform to emissions standards. And if you put in an engine that already conforms to the standards there should be no problem. So therefore, I am off to shop for a Skyline(Hell, why not an R32/33 GT-R?) that has no engine. Im pretty sure that theyll probably ship it to somewhere close and Ill be able to flatbed it or tow it to my house, and the government should have no problem with me owning an engineless automobile. In fact, I dont think that there is much they can say about it.
