Unhappy Factory Rack Problems
Does anyone know the correct well-nut to use as a replacement for the factory rack? I found out mine were no good when I almost lost the entire rack while I was driving on the freeway, the well-nuts pulled right out. The captive brass sleeves have all separated from the neoprene body. The Jepp dealer wanted $80.00 for them and even the parts guys said it was ridiculous. Any suppliers and part numbers would be appreciated.
