I believe the wrx has passive rear wheel steering, and even though they have body roll, they still handle VERY well, at least the 2.5rs does. I can't see how the WRX would not be that good. If they still come with those Potenza RE92's, that may be one reason for lack of handling. Nothing a set of pirelli's or yoko's won't fix. As for the turbo, they run high boost and that's why the lag. Unless you have a twin turbo or it's a low-pressure turbo, you have that. My TSI is the same way, nothing below 3000rpms. I'd really like to see a sr20det vs. the WRX and the Lancer EVO 7.
To George: how much boost are you running and at what rpms do you get full spool-up?
