I just did mine on my civic, and the only thing that really gave me a problem was the crank pulley bolt, its torqued to 135 ft lbs. Most impact wrenches wont be able to take that off, I had to fab up a crank pulley holder and beat on a breaker bar with a sledge to get the bolt loose. Basically to replace the timing belt, you take off the valve cover, top timing belt cover(then set no1 cylinder to tdc, there are marks on the cam pulley), a/c belt, ps belt, and alternator belt. Unbolt the two top engine mount bolts and take off the lower timing belt cover. Now loosen the timing belt adjuster bolt(dont take it off, just loosen), now you should be able to get the belt off. Installation is the reverse order, you might want to replace the water pump while you have everything apart.
