Volvo 850 Turbo Estate

The body is ready for painting. I am going to paint it in dark green pearl because my gf wants it in this color. In Tamiya terms X-5:1 + X-13:1.
The problem I have now is the type of Tamiya paint to use. Is enamel fine? I don't think acrylic is the way to go.
I read the FAQ again and found out the following.
