Well if you want to play around with LS1s i would suggest you do H/C(head/cams), and Headers. Just keep in mind that your stock rear is glass ready to break on hard launches... GM rears arent that strong. Upgrade it to a Moser 31spline /Ford 9" rear end. That and some gears... the steeper the better. 4.56s is the way to goooo
Ok maybe that can be too much gear for you, but i highly suggest at least 4.10s or steeper. Unless youre planning to get on the bottle or a Super/Turbocharger then maybe 3.73s might suit your need but then youd wish youd went with 4.10s.
