The only reason there was a street version of the Superbird was so that they could dominate on the track. Automanufacturers have to produce so many streetable versions of their NASCAR bretheren (sp) in order to have that model race on the track. Nothing compared to those cars on the NASCAR courses the years that they were able to race. They had to disallow them to have good competition again...
