Well thank you all for the warm welcome. Its nice to see an online message board that dosent always flame people and is actually friendly.

Unfortunatly to all the mercedes fans i am actually more of a toyota/lexus guy (my next big project is a toyota gt-one) although serious respect is due to this pimp car.
I spent most of my day off trying to find some tamiya rubbing compound but there is aparently none in the state of Massachusetts. The closest i got was some crazy sounding guy at one store told me to try Stop&Shop brand hand cream. He says thats what he uses and it is abrasive enough.... I now have smooth hands but the car i tried it on is still rough

. Anyway i finally gave up and orderd about 5 tubes online ( i heard it is going out of production. rumor?).
I also got the primer coats done so i took some pictures kinda quick. They are kinda blurry so they arent too helpful but you guys can take a look.
Primered (<-- not sure if that is a word)
the photos make the primer seem a little rough but it is smooth in real life. And as always critisism is welcome.
thanks
Matt
ps. The CLK DTM Original-Teile done by Chain is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen....im still crying
