I use a hand vaccum pump attached to a jar! It sucks out the oil right into the jar!
I commend you on reading your owners manual not many people do!
GM does not spell out alot of things that you need to do like flushing your brake fluid! Your brake fluid is hydroscopic which means it sucks out mositure in the air! Its up to you to decide what services you should perform! But all oil breaks down after time and heat what makes you think charger oil is any different? The charger oil is cheap how much is a new charger? Wouldn't changing the oil make sense"?
How often do you change your oil and filter?
How often do you change your fuel filter, air filter?
Do you obey what is written in the owners manual?
Most people get their oil changed whenever they feel like it. Not when it is due! You can't play both sides of the fence with your maintentance!
