as far as intakes go, i have an AEM cold air and i love it. no, i'm not downing anyother company's intake, but from my personal experience, i've had good results and no problems with the AEM.
the same goes for my exhaust. i've got a GReddy Evolution and i think it's great. i love the deep sound and overall tone quality. i'm not sure about the DC TCS exhaust, but i know that their regular exhaust system is pretty quiet, but i've heard and read that it is excellent quality, it being stainless steel and all.
when it comes to lowering, i don't think you should go anymore than 2" anything more than that and your ride quality will be very harsh. also be sure to get some good shocks to handle the drop you want. koni, tokico, and bilstein are good. i've got bilsteins w/h&r sports and i love the ride and the look it provides. be sure to also get a camber kit, esp. if you wanna go 2"
