I'm well off my Ps (actually, never had to have them
), so it doesn't affect me one way or the other.
But it appears that the authorities don't care. After seeing a P-plater driving (I'm pretty certain) a R33 GTR, I emailed to VicRoads about how they enforce this. Their reply - cut & paste the relevant page off their web site
. I know it was a cut & paste, coz it was word for word the same as their website, right down to the
same typo in it
I emailed the same question to the Victoria Police - they have yet to respond, that was nearly 2 months ago
The GTSt would be borderline on the P/W ratio anyway - I think it comes in a bit over (based on 1400kg, it should not exceed 175kw).
