150+ Mph (240+ Kph), and that was when 4th gear kicked in! I was on the 401 west from T.O heading to London, Ontario and I wanted to finally run out 3rd gear in my Camaro (4-speed auto with stock 2.93 gears). So I hammered it at about 120 Kph, rev'd 2nd gear up to 6000 RPM then 3rd gear screached in at 140 Kph (approx. 85 Mph). Well damned if 3rd gear didn't go from 140 Kph right up to 240 Kph! - hello 4th - and we're still going. After about 7-8 seconds of acceleration with the needle in no mans land I backed off (but the car had been still been pulling and had a LOT of RPM to go before 6000 - someday I'll see how high it can go).
