lmao! The 3rd time!? Hmmm, you know in a Neon timing is crucial...

For instance, this is just extreme, but if you were to lose your timing belt... Say it snapped or fell off, whatever the deal would be, you would fuck your head all up!

The timing makes the valves open when the piston goes up and closes when it goes down... So if you turn your cam without the timing belt you'll screw your valves all up.

...Brings me to a question, kat-hunny might have this one... I just redid my head, rebuilt, everything. All same stuff in her, but complete redo on the head. I broke one of my timing belt covers, I think it was the outside one. Anywho... I put it all back together without that on there, its great works fine... but how safe is that without that on there? Anyone else running without their belt cover?

I went to the dealership to see how much it would be... $50+ for the whole cover.... Yeah, thats what I said. lol!
