Well Revhard has kits for 2001+ si's so I'm assuming they will make a kit for my civic ex fairly soon, giving me time to finish up saving money. These guys only make kits for Civics and Acuras I believe, so that makes me feel better. With the stage 2 kit, and exhaust, I will be WELL over 200hp,(I'm thinking 250+) which thrills me much more than paying almost the same, just to get an engine near 200hp. If I do have enough for the upgrades, and the turbo kit still isn't out, then ill do a few slight mods, and work on my interior/exterior mods.(Im going to hold onto the 4000-4500 bucks, I wont burn it on looks, then be broke when the kit comes out. I'd take performance over looks any day.) Here's where my dad is willing to contribute(he doesn't like the fact that I'm trying to double my civics HP, so he's not willing to contribute to the "turbo fund") Anyway, my civic looks bad ass as it is, 2dr, got a sweet ass spoiler, and I got every little extra possible when we bought it. I'd like to get a black w/ slight orange theme going on in the interior. Black orange mats, completely black sparco seats w/ 5 way harnasses(black w/ orange lettering). New pedals, found these bad ass ones that are black, and glow orange in the center at night...few dash mods, new sound system... and i plan on removing my backseats, or finding some sort of cover. That all will probably put me back a grand. The interior crap is unecessary, but there's nothing like hopping into a "pimped out" interior just before you speed off down the block. Not much will go into my exterior, because im trying to avoid looking too fast and furious. Maybe a few decals, of the brands i've got under the hood, and my interior mods, but no fucking flames or anything. I'd rather some moron in a stock mustang, think I'm just a stupid whiteboy driving a stock 4 cyl. honda civic. And I also look forward to the high pitched rice accel sound, because right now, when I rev, it basically sounds like im starting a vacuum cleaner. I know my civic wont be considered a speed demon by any means, but here in my town, a Mustang GT, is basically the fastest we've got. So I seriously doubt I'll have much to worry about. Anyones opinion is much apreciated.
Oh yeah, and I had some car buff reassure me that my engine is perfectly capable of handling a 7psi boost.
