if the engine and transmission aren't touched, it is absolutely worth it. We'd be willing to give you up to $2000 for it as a trade-in, as it sits (salvaged, etc) if you wanted to buy another VR-4 from us. (we have a red 93 Vr-4 with about 120k miles on it, rebuilt heads, etc). So, if you ended up buying it, you'd have a decent chunk of change left over (a bit over $1000 left).

Considering the amount of damage I'd say it would be difficult for me to pay that much to buy it back. If you need parts off it or intend to part it out and think you can get more than that out of it and want to take the time to part it, then by all means buy it back. If you just want to be done with the car, then let it go.
