1997 Yukon had no start problem,found the fuel pump wasn't working the relay & fuses were good had no noise from pump when trying to start. Replaced the pump added fuel, when I turned the key on could here the pump working.I tried this a few times bofore trying to start when I tried to start, it started then after about 10 to 15 seconds later the engine quit.I turned the key to the on position and could not here the pump,tried this a dozen times could not here pump and when I tried to start the engine would not start.No fusses are burn't and I tried a new relay still no start or noise from pump.The Yukon has remote start.

Try changing the Oil Pressure sending unit. Part of the sending unit is a switch that will shut power off to the fuel pump circuit. See post on this link. http://chevytruckworld.tenmagazines....ressure_switch_
