I was looking at the a thread where you were sharing a way to check the AC clutch on a blazer by unplugging the two prong wire at the accumulator and jumping the prongs. You said that if the clutch engaged it would mean low pressure, if it did not engage it would mean the switch was bad. I used this advice on my 97 escort to help troubleshoot my AC problems. It worked, it engaged and started blowing cold air. In the process of holding the plug with a paperclip in it and looking at the clutch to ensure it engaged, I managed to accidently touch the paper clip to something metal, causing a spark. From that point I could not get the clutch to engage again. Did I fry my low pressure switch? Any advice is appreciated. Mike
