For the Metallica fans: apacolyptica

Has anyone else heard of this band? I just discovered them. They cover alot of Metallica songs on violins. It's really awesome music. I never knew that you could play Enter Sandman on a violin until now.:D

I've got Cult and Plays Metallica By Four Cellos...their Metallica covers are good, but there original stuff is amazing....whoever thought cellos could be that versatile:D

PS: I know someone who's seen em live...apparently they're all over the stage with the instruments...wheee!

It is four guys all playing Cellos. They have since stopped doing the covers. All available on Kazaa. I love them...have ALL their songs. Wait for Steel to see this thread...

Between the time that I posted that first post and this one, I've downloaded about 80 of their songs and burned them all to CD's. They quickly became one of my favorite bands.:)

Never heard of em, I may need to check em out. But Metallica is cool, but I hate as well as the majority of fans do Lars Ulritch. That guys got a huge head and needs to get beat. Which I think is why Jason Newsted left the band.

Metallica's music works surprisingly well on the cello.

It makes really good music when played on any orchestra instrament. That just goes to show how great Metallica actually is.:D
