I did the 90-93 Integra front brake upgrade. I changed the steering knuckle got all new discs calipers and ball joints. Well I finished the job, and the car doesn't even want to roll. The front is so wacked out I can't even drive the car. Has anyone done this conversion and had the same problem? Do I just ned to get an alignment? let me know please.

Mike

And theres nothing you will be able to do about it. The suspension geometry of the Integra is not the same as the Civic. You should have used EX Sedan knuckles, same brakes as the Integra but with the correct Civic suspension geometry.

O M G stop spreading propaganda like that the ONLY thing different is the lower contorl arm and the upper control arm

ok the knuckle on the left is the teg one the knuckle on the right is the STD hatch (91) the knuckles i have are from a 93 acura integra they work my alignment is perfect (besides a little problem i had BEFORE the swap) my steering wheel pulls to the left but thats because i needed a alignment BEFORE the swap but if you changed ur outer tie rod ends YES u will need a alignment but if u use your STOCK control arms the camber is the SAME excatly the SAME ALSO the same is true for the rears when u do a rear disk swap it is the same u gotta use the civic parts (control arms from your civic the trailing arm from the teg) so i know this works cuz i have tried it infact i'm using the teg brakes RIGHT NOW they out stoped a 98ish accord EX last night and with my ZC i kicked his A$$ i droped from 5th to 2nd and made him cry (ha ha ha) he was stunned after i blew by him at about 80mph then continued to 100+ so my brakes work great at those speeds and i have ABSOLUTLY NO CAMBER PROBLEMS only my PREVIOUS alignment problems BEFORE the swap but those are nothing major OK

i hope that clears up the confusion

Thanks alot bro. finally got a real answer. I did find out what the problem is. The knuckle on the right side is bent, I need to find another one. what size wheels and tyres are you running? I am thinking about going to a 16x7

Are you 100% sure about them being the same. Because I know for a fact that when you use Integra Rear Trailing Arms on your car even with all the other Civic arms the track is a bit wider, even though visually they look exactly the same. All it take is one or two mm that you can't even notice with your eye and that will mess up the geometry.

So what year integras front knuckles do i need? the 90-93 ones will work correctly then.... and i think that explains my rr. suspension problems im pretty sure i used the teggy upper control arms and i used the teggy lca so i could use the rr. sway bar too....

gunmettel u cant u see the teg lca is striaght and the civic one is kinda bent in the middle for a reason (to pull the lower part of the wheel in) so u will have some camber problems in the rear if u JUST swap out the UCA and not the LCA so in short BUY a Civic HB Si or CRX Si rear sway bar and LCA
