Okay, what's your pick?

And if you choose other, then please list what it is...

Diet products fall under the parent product name. AKA. Diet Coke voters just choose "Coke"

Oh, and my vote is for Coke. :D

I picked Coke, because I drink it all the time. :)

I'd really prefer A&W Sparkling Vanilla Cream Soda, but I rarely get to have it. :(

I always though Dr. Pepper was a Coke product for some reason... guess not :D Dr. Pepper/7UP are owned by London-based Cadbury-Schweppes. They are the largest non-cola global beverage firm.

If you had asked me this question 1 year ago, I would have defiantly shouted, "COKE OR DIE!!!'

But now, I don't drink soda, so yeah. I'm anti-soda now.

Pepsi was distrubted over here by Cadbury-Schweppes, So I think there maybe some part ownership going on between the two.
Certainly on a global scale, pepsi is Tiny compared to coke.
At all the different gas sations I worked at the Pepsi order everyweek was about 5% the size of the coke order. :D

Im not a great fan of Cola's, I prefer something a little healthier, or if im being cheap and bad a Fanta. :D

The original name of Pepsi-Cola was "Brad's Drink," created in the back of a pharmacy.

Yeah I agree Dr. Pepper tastes good even though mixing it with vanilla yogurt(the thick kind) made me sick so I threw up:apuke: Maybe next time I won't have yogurt and Dr.pepper together.

I like both, but I do have to say Coke. It tastes so yummy on a hot day when you put it in a glass with crushed ice. Plus I can make some BIG burps with it.

PEPSI!!!!

I hate coke. It's too sweet, and they put too much caramel into it :apuke:
Pepsi tastes way better

I'm pretty sure that Pepsi owns Dr. Pepper :)

plus coke leaves more of that weird feeling on your teeth

You wanna big burp? Try drinking at least 1/5 liter of coke without taking the bottle/can off your mouth. It's like 30 second burp.

I've seen Dr. Pepper distributed by both Coca-Cola and Pepsi. I, myself, am a Coke man. I love it in the glass bottles. Besides Coke, I love Jones soda. That stuff is so sweet it can float bubble gum in it! and Snapple Elements. Those are awesome. I also like Cream Soda and Root Beer.

Pepsi does own Cadbury-Schweppes. My parents own a Fish&Chip shop and the sales figures for Coca-Cola used to kill Pepsi's figures. They eventually stopped stocking Pepsi and their products.

Coke in the glass bottle with the actual top you need an opener RULES. The glass always seems to keep it colder longer, and it's just better....:D:D

I've heard "cola" called just about everything. The restaraunt where I work only serves Pepsi, and everyone just asks for a Coke. I personally call all soft drinks "pop" but depending on where you are from, I've heard Soda a number of times. DC area calls it soda, but Philly says Pop (or atleast Quakertown). Who knows?

make 7, UP YOURS!

I love 7up and Sprite. Caffene makes me go nuts. Two glasses of coke and I can't sit down for hours. Plus the taste of non-caffene drinks just seems to be more natural. And you can still burp big with sprite, trust me:)

Coke Period ->.<- I love Coke. Anyone heard of Red Bull? i'm not sure wether or not it's alcholoic or just caffination to the extreme, we don't get it in Canada because we have a law against sometihng with a certain caffeine percentage. Gan$tarr???

Red Bull is non-alcoholic. The original Red Bull is like a tonic in a little glass bottle that is imported from Thailand (there's no English on the labelling) and it's not carbonated as well... I tell ya, that sh!t is strong maaaan!:flash: The canned version has been carbonated and not as strong as the bottle, but still has a bit of a kick.
Here, alot of night clubbers substitute the coke in their alcoholic mixers with Red Bull... that really farks you up in no time fast.:bloated:

I have put my girlfriend and her mother up to the "Pepsi vs. Coke" challenge--both of which SWEAR they can tell a difference...and neither of them really can when given unmarked glasses of coke and pepsi.

Although they both hate coke, they never notice when I use it instead of Pepsi. :D

Personally, I think colas are liquid candy and I try to stay away from them. I'm more of a water/beer man :)

When I quit smoking over the summer, I also gave up sodas, but the quitting didn't stick(well it did for 8 weeks trying agian thanksgiving though) I didn't drink coke for alot longer than that though, now I have a coke once a week or so I am all for coke. I used to drink a 12 pack every 3 or 4 days. Now I am a water, coolaid, and gatorade fiend. Nothing beats the taste of coke though, but it is too addictive.

Definitely Pepsi. I like the fact that it's sweet and not bitter like Coke. Thought lately, Pepsi has been tasting a lot like Coke and vice versa. Also, all these have to be with diluted in ice, as pure soda is way too sweet--especially the Slice (oranga soda) variety.

Listen up, time for the Food Technologists almighty opinion... :D

In blind preference tests (here in NZ anyways) Pepsi typically wins hands down. However when presented with the brand Coke comes out on top.

Ahhh, the power of a multi-million dollar marketing budget.

As to my preference, I'm not a huge fan of cola soft drinks, so I think I'll go with blatch - Red Bull (+ vodka)...

The best thing to mix Red Bull with is Vodka. 1/5 - 4/5 mix. It will make you go nuts for about 1/2 hour, then just buzzed for another couple of hours. I usually have about 3 or 4 cans of red bull mixed with appropriate amount of vodka. Wheeeee...

The way I see it....I can't stand watered down stuff. Canadian Coke is just perfect, American Coke is watered down Canadian Coke, Diet Coke is watered down American Coke, Pepsi is watered down Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi is watered down Pepsi, and stuff like Pepsi Twist is just water with a little lemon squeeze...

Oh, if I'm ever at anybody here's place and you offer me a drink (unless it's water or hard alocohol), don't EVER put ice in it :o

:D:D
