I just brought my 91 red civic hatch to the garage. Hopefully to get fixed finally. The problem is it starts sometimes, and doesnt others...its so weird. Well if i get it fixed, would it be worth getting a body kit, rims, painted, and lowered? It is a standard and just reached 130k. The exterior is almost mint minues a few dings. whatcha all think? honestly.

Your car is worth it. Just fix the lil probs. Dings are nothing. And find whats up w/yer starter ( starting prob i mean ) and start tweakin yer ride ! Mine was a peice when i got it. But i still loved it enuff to fix it up! I got bout the same mileage as you. Im still fixing it too. Doing just bout everything i can think of with it. But yea, its worth it. Its a learning experience too. So it'll only be for the best ! ;) Good luck if u decide to go with it !

Honda engines are notably high-mileage engines... mine's at 169K miles right now. If you're worried about the engine mileage, you can always drop a new engine into it.
Welcome to the board, and for your starting problem, you should check your main relay. Alot of people in here have had problems with being able to start the car sometimes, especially when the car is driven for a few miles, and turned off for a few minutes, then it won't start again, and you have to sit and wait a few minutes before it'll start.... if this sounds like the problem you have, that's probably the answer.
