I'm 20 years young. But damn, do I feel old...

Its been a long time since we've had an age request post. I'll go out on a limb and state that I'm probably older then most. Over a couple centuries in dog years.

I'm 17 and a half. I'll be 18 in May. I'm a year ahead, too, I'm in my first year of college.

You can tell the young ones. They always say their age with a reference to how long they have to wait till their next birthday.

By 24 there are fat deposits building in places they will never leave, and despite it taking a lot more to get you drunk, it also takes you a lot longer to recover the next day.
You suddenly realise that although your still young, it wont be for much longer. You start to check your head for bald patchs, wonder if that ach from last weekend will ever go away, and suddenly realise how old and frail your parents have become, and that theres a high chance that in 20yrs you'll be going the same way.

But other than keeping fit, and staying away from excess's theres nothing you can do about it, so despite the odd winge from time to time you accept it and just get on with getting old.

I started Kindergarten when I was 4 instead of 5, grade 1 when 5, grade 2 when 6, and so on.

I am 18. Hey Heep I did the same thing as you I started kindergarten early. What was the reason you started kindergarten early? My parents sort of tricked me. They asked me if I wanted to follow them to work and watch tv in my dad's office or go to school like the big kids. Being a naive four year old I said I want to go to school like the big kids. I didn't know what I was getting myself into.

Nah, I was reading when I was 3, so my parents decided to get me started as early as possible. Even at 4 I was usually ahead of the other 5 year olds

I'm 24, the worst part about getting older is running out of things to look forward to. Example, as a teenager you can't wait to turn 16 to get your license, then you can't wait to turn 18 so you can be an adult, then it's on to 21 so you can get drunk in public leagaly after that the only thing left is waiting for 25 when you get your car insurance break.:rolleyes:

plus all my info is courtesy of guys i know in college

the only girls that go out with younger guys are older ladies, like 30+ they like younger guys... for flings, etc. it makes them feel younger
but a 22 year old girl in College won't go out with an 18 year old guy, i guarentee you that for 99% of girls.... because most girls want a more mature, older guy who is more financially stable... and ready for a serious commitment

There are exceptions to everything... but i'm speakin about what is most common

Okay, Okay. I'll admit to it. I've dated a younger guy. I was 18 and he was :uhoh: 16. But one of the many reasons why I broke up w/him was because he lied to me and said he was 18. No one ever questioned him on it because he acted like it... Then I found out that he'd been lying all along and, among other reasons, I broke up with him...

So it is totally possible to get an older girl. :flipa:

Trust me my niave young friend, once somebody matures enough an age gap becomes less of a problem, and it can go both ways.
