Well here is a big update to my Tamyia R32 Skyline.
There are various progress pics and I post them for reference to anyone bulding this model not many modifications but a lot of work went into painting the various parts in order to get the sligtly tuned effect...(Each pic comes with a samll description)


Here is the interior after the first light coat of the color,sanded in various areas to get a more rough effect.

Here is the exhaust.Painted in silver and blackwashed to some areas for the worn out effect.THe joints are painted in very light blue and yellow to make the joints look more real.The cat is heavily blackwashed.

Sorry for the many pics but a lot of people want to see progress pics and I was very proud of how my first model goes...Man I can't believe that I didn't build palstic model kits all this years...

The color in the interior is a spray can paint I picked up in a paint shop. It has the correct color and has the right feel to represent leather....Not too glossy and with the correct thikness so it's really perfect for cream leather interiors...

Also because I don't have flocking material I made some areas more rough and with the second layer of paint looks perfect...

P.S:I didn't added anything to the engine 'cause it's my first model but I did some detail paitning here and there...I think the result looks ok!(I wanted to add some wiring and a new air filter but I think I leave it for my second attempt!)

THe pics in this thread for some reason don't work but I didn't wanted to open a new thread...

I have made small progress and I found a small problem...WINDOW MASKING...


Here is a pic of the windows...I masked the right and left area and everything went great But now I can't understand how I should mask the front area...Please help...I know many people done R32(pman among them)plz a tip would help a lot...

I do my window lines with a paint marker and a steady hand, you could try that. by the way nice skyline

am i the only one that can't see the pics in the first post?
i can see the last post pics. (window and body)
But i have not been able to see the others. all i get it red Xs.
