I recieved a promo offer from Nissan last week. Oil and filter change for $25.95 canadian ($1.72 US). AND they will throw in a Nissan backpack for $4.95 ($.23US)......Gwen took the afternoon off to take the beast to get new fluids...

When did the Canadian dollar drop so much? $25 CDN equals $2 US? I'm guessing you meant $17.20? That's not bad...but is it for 4wd models, too?

You gotta get to know the Canadian Humor eh !....the Canadian Dollar is .6347 US today.

And yes it goes for 4x4's too !

so far I picked up the camping chair, beach bag/blanket, xterra first aid kit ( couldn't understand that one ), timing is always right, just when I have to bring it in.
I guess with the exchange, we drive 2.53X2.53's ( hard to get a sticker saying that though )

I get nothing. Nada. Zip, ziltch, rien.

But I saw the backpack a few weeks ago, the local Nissan rep was at my dealer dropping some off when they I was there. He asked me what I thought and I told him "Lame. It looks like one of those rice-burner chick bags". A one-strapped backpack ... for the one-armed wallpaper hanger. :rolleyes:

Do not dispair, If you have had your truck serviced by Nissan in Canada you will recieve the offer. I will use the back pack as a x-mas gift (Lucky Jens)

Today I also won tickets to the special premiere of Warren Miller's "Cold Fusion" presented by 2002Nissan Ultimate test drive PLUS a price pack..yet to be announced...pays to answer emails !
