can anyone help me

i have a 69 firebird with a chevy 350 and a th350 tranny.when i purchased the car it did not have a passing gear cable(T.V) i baught a cable and now i dont know where it goes into the transmission. can anyone help me on this?

It took me a little while to find, but the detent cable(kickdown) attaches in a hole in front of the tranny dipstick tube. Look in a Haynes/Chliton book for a picture, any vehicle with a th350 wold work.
