downpipe?

what is the diff. between a downpipe and a straight pipe, and r they illegal...im pretty sure the straight pipe is seeing hoe it eilminates the need for a cat.

A down pipe replaces the main cat (which is illegal).

A straight pipe goes from the downpipe (or main cat) to the rear of the car. This eliminate the secondary cat and the muffler (also illegal).

if you remove the main cat will it pass inspection. for those of us that use the car as a daily.

Inspection laws vary by state and by country ... you need to ask this of someone in your area.

Also Sometimes Depends On What Year Your Car Is And Whether It Was Originally Fitted (jap Spec Doesn't Have One)
