Sad Sad engine detail

ok got my supra diecast and the engine detail is just sad

its just all chromes as you can see and im wondering if somone could jus gimme a few tips on what to detail and what not because i cant tell any of the parts apart... so pls if you could that would be great

two sets of rims, put em on both sides cuz your never looking at more than 1 side at once rite? and this gives variety

damn, the exterior is nice though

what I do is paint the engine another color and try to see what parts there are

u could use this to help maybe///

Might as well rip the entire engine bay out and dechrome it, then ask around if anybody could provide you with a scan of the engine assembly of the Tamiya Supra..

That engine is horrible!!
I think you need to rip that engine out and put a new one in.

Damn all that CHROME!!! but the outside and interior look nice!!

tell me if its a good idea to construct a custom engine bay and then prob put my ram's engine in.. but then its just the engine, no battery or anything, so then im thinking do an engine swap and take wheel wells and everything from somthing else..but its not like i have anything extra to take from.. i unno gimme ideas

If I was you id put them rims on a H2 model, than get that interior and put it in another model, that body is grizzly :apuke:

As for the engine, Id just take it out and put in a different supra motor, like from the tamiya kit. Or you can put like a 300zx motor in it or R32 or something

Doesn't really look like a big problem.

If you seriously want to detail the kit you should pick up the tamiya model.

I wouldn't go to that extent though.

I just decrome the piece, paint it flat black and beging painting some of the details in different metalic shades.
