Scratch-Built Trailor

Anyways, this took me several hours to make(not finished) all you need is a good stock of strene sheets, some wheels to put on it, and paint to finish it off.
Keep in mind that everything was scratch built except the wheels/tires. And that these pictures are from yesterday, so they are now outdated, but I'll get newer pictures tomorrow.

Good to hold huge VIP cars:

Little, fast ones:

Big old impalas:

And of course, crazy imports:

If you want dimensions, or want "tips," just ask, I might make a "how-to" for this as well.

Looks great but too squared. The fender like thingies over the wheels shouls be round like on most trailers. It looks good though, nice job. When will we see progress?

Just a few questions on your trailer cause I'm currently building one, although it is slightly more elaborate that yours. First, how did you attach the wheels? Finding a good axel and suspension was the hardest part for me. Second is it gona have ramps, cause I am stuck on how to make those for mine, I want something to slide up in to the trailer. Finaly can you show us the suspension and how the wheels are attached?
Good job on this and I hope to have mine done soon to show you.

There are trailers with square fenders...my dad has one;)

Thanks for the comments guys, I guess I'll do a write-up when I have time.
64 Chevy, the wheels are currently not attached, but a "leaf" suspension system is currently under construction, so the wheels will be attached by two axles, and a leaf suspension system. My goal is to make this trailer as scratch-built as possible, so you don't have to hunt for parts.
For the ramps, I'll either make them "removable" or create a hindge to fold them upward.

On the ramps. alot of trailers have loading ramps that slide into the deck of the trailer with pins that slide in behind them so they dont come on while driving. Trust me I have helped build many of them :)

That is cool, I may have to build me one of those. All though I would need a model truck to "Pull" it.

Hold on guys, I haven't been posting latley because I'm still catching up on school work!
But now THERE will have a write-up done, due to the demand, but I'll start it when I finish my "prototype" model!:hehehe
And can a Mod please change the title from "Scratch-Built Trailor" to "Scratch-Built Trailer" thanks for pointing this one out Bane!
