Ok, so as you guys know my shit was clunking when I made left turns, so they replaced the axle on the right side ... was cool for about 3 days and now its startin to do it again, I swear, this car is my baby and everything but sometimes its more like "quit yer cryin ya fuckin baby!" lol, anyways, what do you guys think?

The axle on the right side had a hole in the CV and had a good amount of play in it, and the mechanic checked the axle on the left and there was no problem with it at all, it was nice and solid, so what else should I look for. My car does it really bad when I come out of my driveway cause im turning at the same time.

i don't get a clunk, but i get a whining kind of sound when i turn right and left...

something is worn, and i have no idea what it is. axle? or wheel bearings?

i know how you feel melt.. you put all this time/money/sweat into your 4th gen and it shits on you. something always seems to go wrong.

there are days i want to just light the car on fire or drive it off a cliff or something, but then there are days where i am proud to be driving it.

I guess thats what u get when you own a 12 year old car

man you said it. on the worst days at least I can say... no payment.

b16 complaints:
almost unbearalbe freeway noise
rattles, rattles, and more rattles

sometimes I think about that money spent... but then again, what else would I want to drive?

you hit the nail on the head. there are so many rattles/squeeks/etc. that i want to pull a civic16valver and throw the parts across the room. ;)

but then again, like you said, i really wouldn't rather be driving anything else, although I wouldn't complain if i were driving a 92-95 hatch..

My axles kept going bad for a while and I discovered the rubber in two of my engine mount is wearing out causing the engine and tranny to shift slightly. Also if you have not already you might check and make sure nothing has come loose in the suspension. Good luck.

Hmm well i'm in the same situation. My front driver side wheel bearing is goin out! SO my steering wheel shakes like all crazy. Try checkin your wheel bearing.
