I'm gonna guess it's a chassis... just a guess...

haha many right answers.. it is indeed a chassis.. and it also is a model of a car.. ;)

But Billypee have the right answer of the model being the Ferrari F10.. the 2010 Ferrari F1-machine.. Pics of the progress will be in later tonight.. :)

Subbing for the pictures. I want to see how this build goes, I was thinking about doing the same thing. What are you going to use for front tires? Or are you just going to go with the F60's - they are only about an inch narrower...

Problem is the Revell model is 1/24....

Can't wait to see more, the F60 and F10 are quite different even when it doesn't look that different on first sight

I was waiting for someone to attempt the conversion! Looking forward to see your WIP.

Although they seem similar, the rear end of the F10 is quite a fatty. The front tires a just a bit narrower but from the reference pics, they are noticeable. The other challenge I might think would be the front cast rims replicating the 2009's wheel fairing look.

When does it start then? All I see is a chopped up bottom?

Hi again !

Sorry for the long wait with the progress ! But I must show you something worth showing ! ;) and here is what i´ve done so far ! :)

I have extended the car to the correct length, rebuilt the rear-wing, modified the sidepods and air-intake. I have also modified the nose of the car. That is what has been done for now ! :)

Now it is the long process of shaping the car and make it look good enough for the date with the primer ;)

Did this project get dropped?
I was looking forward to this one as a guide for my own attempt.
