Castrol Supra -- First real attempt. (Update)

I built this Castrol Supra about a two years ago. It turned out OK, it was my second attempt at using an airbrush. I still need a LOT of practice.

The acutal pics suck...I need a new digital camera. :(

Wow! Not bad, it came out pretty good there!!:D

Thanks. You should see the first few pics I took. They were soooo damn blury I almost cried. I'm so pissed because I can't get the damn detail on the wheels to show up. I spent so much time on them. I painted them in a silver first then went with a top coat of white. When it dried I picked off the white paint where the wheel rivits are to show the silver through. Turned out great...not that you can see it in those crappy pics. :(

The wheels came out superb! Did you mask them off or brush paint them?

Just gotta get into adding all that interior detail such as brake lines and electrical wires and you will be there!:D

Thanks, I'm most proud of those. :) I think I brush painted them. I remember now they were 'chrome' covered in the kit then I hand painted the center part with a couple coats of white. For the rivits I just picked off the paint with a xacto knife and the original 'chrome' showed through.

Very nice detail work on the wheels Jason.
