I try to mask the area, but some of the round sections are always getting screwed up. Is there any good technique that can help me paint the glass frame without damagin the glass?

There is a section in the FAQ that explains this. It's written by P-man and it's very helpful, go check it out.

The one which P-man wrote is about the body frame. But I think what he is asking about is the for the clear window part. right?

sharpies are hard to correct mistakes....the paint markers run along the edges beter and its paint so it can be corrected.

Tamiya masking tape, sharp X-Acto blade #11, PATIENCE, and airbrush. You just have to practice until you can draw (or trace) out curved lines, then you can go to work on the windshield.

My most current method:

1. Put Tamiya tape on the inside, where the 'frosted' outline is.
2. Hold it up to a light, and mark on the tape in pen corners and major coutours of the 'frosted' shape.
3. Peel the tape off and cut it out by my guides. Trace and reverse for the other side, if applicable.
4. Reaffix tape mask.
5. Spray semi-gloss black w/ airbrush or TS-29 spray.
6. Peel the mask off before the paint is completely dry.
