Custom Bike Meet

Yeah post ur crotch rockets, not racers or hogs, ur custom sport bikes
i would put some up but i aint dun yet

Tamiya Ducati 916 painted TS 8 Italian Red. All other painting was done with Testors metalizers, the welds on the exhaust were replicated by mixing 5 minute epoxy and when it got stringy, I wrapped around the pipe then detail painted it. Drilled out all brake rotors and used Bare Metal Foil on the shiney part of the fork. CF decal is from SMS.

This is Tamiya's Honda CBR400F painted with TS14 Gloss Black, the frame is TS30 Silver Leaf. It is built box stock, the head light looks crooked but it doesn't turn with the forks on this bike.

All of the bikes look outstanding, great builds. Though most of them seem to be stock bikes. Anyone building custom bikes as the title of this thread indicates ?

schimmel03, love the rarely seen working lights and the paint, nice and aggressive with the flat black, I think thats what it is.

Since it is a custom bike theme, I will throw in a few teaser pics' of my project. More to come later.

Street/Drag Busa it is. Forks have been lowered 3", single sided disk w/ full caliper. Swingarm is 3" longer w/top and bottom bracing and a custom shock that will bring the rear down 4". Scratch turbo system, nos, basically the works.

Here's my unfinished bike project - Kawasaki Z1000 MKII.
Still have to finish the taillight and indicator lenses, paint/attach photo etch badges/fit the side panels, and fabricate a handlebar top clamp.

Here's my second motorcycle in a row i've built. If you haven't already built one, do so!! I had a blast building my Yamaha R1 and this Ducati was just as fun. It's good to change it up once and awhile (for me anyway:smile: ) and these Tamiya motorcycles are excellent....Anyways, this is my Ducati 916.
