94 Stalls and Fuel Guage is Erratic

I thought I had found the problem with my car in a few threads but then I read one that totally pointed me in a different direction. So instead of chasing my tail, I figured I would just post my problem and get some help.
I have a 1994 LeSabre, V6 3.8 150K that had been sitting for over a year. Starts right up with no problem. After its running, the fuel gauge will jump from a mid level to past the full limit then back again. While driving, if the cars RPM's drop (coming to a stop or turning a corner) she will studder and or stall out. After stopping and putting the car in drive, she starts right back up and we are fine again until we slow or stop.
I put High Octane (93) gas in as well as fuel injector cleaner with no change.
Had Idle Air Control replaced as well as Throttle Body/Fuel Injector cleaning done but still no joy.
From the posts that I have seen, my problems could be caused by:
a)Fuel Sending Unit and Fuel Pump
b)Fuel Filter
c)EGR Valve
d)all of the above
e)none of the above
Looking for any assistance to point me in the right direction instead of guessing blindly again.
Thanks

When the car was sitting idle during the year you mentioned, was the car in an enclosed garage, or sitting outside? What was the level in the gas tank during this time? Your fuel gage problem, is probably related to corrosion of the sending unit. You need to check the fuel pressure after changing the filter, which should be a routine maintenance procedure, especially after sitting so long. Give us some feedback on the suggestions above, then we can move on to the procedure for checking the sensors, such as TPS, MAF, etc.

I just purchased the car but I am almost sure it was outside. Have no idea how much gas was in it while it was sitting cause it had been moved from one location to another before my purchase. When I got it, it was on a 1/4 tank so I would think it was around there or less.
Mechanic states that fuel pressures were good when tested. Having the filter replaced now and will give results and exact pressure readings when thats completed.
Thanks

Fuel Filter was replaced and still no luck. Will have the pressure readings in a few.

well those pressure reading look good are there any codes stored . some thoughts are tps or maf. try unpluging the mass air flow and see if it idles try looking for cracked vacuem line since it sat so long it could have vacume leakspray carb cleaner along the line if you hear idle change it could be there

So if I am reading this correctly, a vacume leak could be the cause of my problems?

MAF has tested good. Possible vac leak. Checking into that now.

Vac leak could not be found. At the end of my rope. Looking for suggestions.

Check your coil module grounding wire...happens to me - clean it up and tighten it and the gage bouncing stops but chances are the module or at least one of the coil packs might be acting up.
I'm looking into mine right now with the same issue.
