I painted a transparent body (material: lexan) from the inside with special paint for R/C cars. Now there are differences in the color, tears and the paint became white at some parts.
How could I remove the paint?

good luck, dont think you can!! any paint remover will also damage the body, think about it, paint strippers melt paint off... the lexan will melt too, best off painting and lacquering the outside, but the shell will be heavy, if weight is an issue just buy a new one what are they like 15 pound? or summin, ur probably american so cheaper

okay not sure if you prepare the body right

Things you need to do before painting.

You need to wash the boday meaning inside. This is because that there are some residue left in the mold the will make the lexan lift from the mold. If no wash paint will not stick to some area and even cause the whitness you are talking about.

Polycarbonate paint bonds with the lexan so is not easy to remove after you let the paint settle. Some people say use the nitro fuel other say brakefluid. Honestly if you let the paint sit for a day none of those will work.

Things to do with the body. well you can paint outside the body and clear coat it. mask the windows etc.

If you plan to use the body to bash around well then who cares, slap some stickers on it play with the body till it is ruin. Use this experiece as a lesson so you will not make the mistake again.

I say just use the body and bash around and use it as your bashing around bodies. Buy another body for display purpose.

if you use the tamiya polycorbonate paint and let it sit in the body for a while nothing will really get it out. Since the paint will chemically bond with the body.

If you use other brand there is a slight chance it might work.

But either way they all bond to the body and even if you were able to get the paint off it will not be 100%

So just use the bad body for bashing around i mean it will get torn up anyways.

people are more intrested in your skill of driving then your color body unless you enter contest with it.
