Tomorrow I'm goin to my hobby store and I might be picking up a model, but what i need to know is how much Pegasus wheels are sold for? These: http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/951483p1296.jpg are the wheels I want to buy but they are $18.14 AUSD which is around $11USD. Is it worth it or is that just a big rip off? Also anyone who has Pegasus wheels, what are the mounts like on the back? Male or Female? I need to know anything about these Pegasus wheels, any help is greatly appreciated!

I have seen some of their wheels at my LHS with a price tag of Around $9USD. I didn't buy them so I can't speak for the quality and mounting...

You don't live in the US right.
Well maybe not worth it maybe it is.
I don't realy like pegasus wheels.
My hobby store has them at 8.99
THe wheels I buy are either from HH or XS.
Why hobby store sells most of their wheels at 8.99
Pegasus has a wide selection though.
I still like HH bellagios than pegasus, reason is HH's belagios look better.
Mounting, don't know about that but you can just modify it until it fits.

There sold for about $9.00 and the mounting is female.......its a small hold that slides onto a metal rod but they have to be modified to fit on plastic male connections.

Lowryda, that price should be right for that wheel, but the smaller ones should'nt go for more than $5. I.M.O the smaller pegasus wheels are crappy. The tires suck and the quality of the rim is'nt that special either. The 20's they sell are good though.
Here's a tip... On the smaller pegasus wheels, turn the tire inside out ;)

I guess my old hobby shop "Flashbacks" (no longer in business so now I shop at hobby town) was selling them for too much $$, they were $11.99 per set. The tires usually arent that great looking and the backs are female, I just trim them down and plastic weld male stems and they work great. IMO these aren't the best wheels out there but they definitely do not look bad. The $11.00 price does not sound too bad after all it's only $11.00, I don't think $11.00 should break the bank.
